Give me a good opinion

ok I've narrowed it down to 2 amps to power my 2 12inch alpine type r's. a JBL BP1200.1 or alpine pdx 1.1000. Which amp will be superior for my subs. I forgot the pdx will run me 600 and the jbl will run $300. I dont want to cheap out by any means, but if it turns out the JBL BP1200.1 is superior, i will want to jump on that

The BP1200.1 has been a trustworthy awesome bang for the buck for... geez.... 5-6 years now? I didn't even realize you could still buy those things new. lol

In terms of power output, you won't notice a difference between the two. My vote is for the Alpine. Has a lot more class and outputs the same amount of power regardless of given impedance. Many years ahead of the JBL in terms of design. Literally.
