so i go to get my 12" cvr subs installed into my camaro and they say it wont fit after telling me they would so naturally i was a little set off by that cause i just did purchase a ZX750.1 Kicker amp from crutchfield for $300

luckily i looked into it and it says that the 10" CVR's have the same RMS power range as the 12" which is between 50 and 800 RMS wattage

i was just wondering, as a sort of second opinion, if any of you guys or girls know whether or not my amp will still work to its full potential with the 10" subs

p.s. the amp is 375 RMS wattage at 4 ohms and 750 at 2 ohms

Are the cvr's dual 4, single 4, dual 2 what are the voice coils on it? If they are dual 4 you can get them down to 2ohm by wiring the coils in parallel, if they are dual 2's you can get them up to 4ohm by wiring the coils in a series. Single 2 and Single 4 should be the obvious ones as well.

Who told you they don't fit? I've had 2 12's in all of my f-bodies. www.subthump.com sells boxes.

i sell these subs and amps for a living and the 10s will be powered fine you just need to make sure that you wire it down to 2 ohms there are diagrams online if you are not familier with it. P.S. this is going to be very loud in your car and that amp pulls alot of power my recommendation is to upgrade the altenator cause pulling that much will do damage (know this from experience and being stranded on the side of the road with a burnt altenator:()

The CVRs only come in dual 2 and dual 4 models.

By the wording you used, I take it you have a pair of the CVRs? You'll need the dual 2 ohm version and you'll need to wire them using a series/parallel scheme.

This will pull 750W+ out of that amp.
