I currently have one amp off of a 4g power wire.
I am adding another amp for my sub. What do I need to hook it up i know i need a fused a dustrubtion block and some 8g power wire.
Also for the remote amp turn on wire do i just splice into the existing wire?
And is it ok to ground the amps at the same place?
Current Setup:
Pioneer HU
CDT Classic componets 6.5
Cadence TXA-500HC
Fused distribution box and another set of RCA's. I'd just splice into the existing turn-on wiring. As for grounds, some people recommend using the same one, while other say don't. Go ahead and use the same one if you want to, but if you have any static or power problems, try a separate ground.
Ditto. Fused Dist. Box for power, another set of RCA's for they amp input. use the same rem. turn-on....you can probably get away with using the same ground...
does it really matter what distribution block i use i found one pretty cheap.
is there any reason to buy a more expensive one? http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?...roduct_ID=2773
also i was thinking of replacing my old rca cable when i install my new amp. They are the ones that came with my amp kit there kinda cheap i think. or should i not worry about it?
