ok, i'm done with this Bose mess...just when i get ahold of my soldering iron to wire the pigtails back in for the door amps, the amp in my sub enclosure poops out...CRAP!!...anyone know what wires are what that run to that amp back there? i know i can tie into em on the driver's side under that lil kick panel, just need to know which are the signal wires so i can get my sails working...thanx

I believe the black and orange separate connector is the power plug. The other plug has 6 or 8 connectors i believe. I used to know which were the signal wires, but can't remember and since mine isn't installed anymore i couldn't find out for ya. Just take a small speaker and start plugging the leads into different pins. I believe the uncoated wires are the grounds, so work off of that. There should be 4 signal wires -\+ for left\right.

E2 - GRAY - left front speaker negative input
E3 - TAN - left front speaker positive input
E4 - BLACK - right rear speaker positive input

F7 - ORANGE - right front speaker midrange positive output

EDIT: I believe thats for the Monsoon system and maybe (doubt it) similar for you....:(

the leads n connectors idea sounds good to me, i got a couple 6x9's i plan on puttin in the sails, so i figure i can try it with those...once again, it's appreciated guys

On second thought, maybe i'm getting mixed up and the uncoated wires i'm thinking of are on the headunit wiring harness... either way just try the different leads until you get a sound. That should work out for you. Good luck!
