Anyway, since the topic was brought up, I have 20% all around so I am not worried about people seeing it. What I was thinking of doing was using some plywood or MDF and cutting it to fit the spare tire well. Then drilling a hole and using the bolt that holds the tire to hold the board. I doubt ventilation will be an issue since I have a cheapo Boss amp.
You can take a look at mine in my profile in my cardomain site, it is mounted to the car in the rear, just pull the carpeting back and you can look for the spots where you can mount it. If you open the hatch you really can't see it unless you bend over and look inside the hatch area. I think mine is 24"x 9" x 3" it is a PPI 2300 am amp.

I don't know if it would work. I have t-tops and it looks like where yours is mounted would get in the way of the rack in the back area.
I was just trying to give some spots to put it, what size is the amp, you might get away with it just mounting it on the passenger side, maybe vertical.
