Pretty sure MTX is the only major manufacture of a plastic stealth box. The JL Audio one may be plastic, but it's completely covered in carpet. The MTX one has no carpet at all. Just a press-on cover over the front.

from what it looks like mine is a complete box, there is no way you can take it apart, seperate from removing the sub

That's the MTX thunderform. If you'll note the 4 holes around the perimeter of the mounting side. The push-on style fabric cover pushes into those holes. Just like a cover on any home audio speaker. Aside from the MTX, all the others are truly one piece.

                  Re: stealth box question

Quite certain the authentic JL stealth box only came in 10" versions. There was a third party out there making and selling 12" versions through the message boards though.

you might not have enough air space for a 12.

JL Audio claims it is due to corner loading the sub. How much truth is in that, I don't know. But I have heard them on many occasions and have been very impressed.
