The previous owner installed non bose speakers in the front doors and cut the connectors off that go into the speakers. I can't find a wiring diagram for a 96 bose system. If anyone has a diagram or is willing to pull their door panels to look for me I would greatly appreciate it. I just need to know which color is A and which one is B so I can wire up a replacement connector properly.
wait...do you need to know which wires are the signal and negative wires?
if so, i would look for you, but it's 12:09 @ night
Yes that is exactly what I am asking. I would greatly appreciate any help you could give me. It has to be a 96 though. Different bose setup then the 93-95.
There are physically 5 speakers in the 93 to 95 systems but only 3 of them are driven by the bose amps. Did you read the diagram I found you in the other post?
...the diagram shows 2 door speaker amps, and a rear sub enclosure/ amp enclosure, of which the amp also powers the subwoofers in the sails...
3 amp/5 powered speaker system :D
***but to answer your question, if u havent figured out by tomorrow, i'll be pulling my door panel to adjust my window fit n finish, so i'll check the wires and let you know
i didnt get the door panel off today, too busy workin on gettin my pinstripes/bumper sticker off, but if my memory serves me correctly from the last time i replaced the speakers, they were blue and green...it's been a LONG time since i've been in there last, but im pretty sure those are the colors

The door speakers in your setup are bose and the one in the hatch is as well. The ones in the sails are not bose speakers. There is a bose amp in each door and there are 2 located in the sub box, a Bose one for the hatch sub and a separate one for the sails.
