ok well my HU wont come on at all. it was working just yesterday. lastnight i replaced the whole inside of my car. when my brother was taking the console out there is a switch or somthing on the left side corner (i dont know what its even for i think its for i light or somthing but i dont have a console lid.)well my brother was undoing the wires to it (black and orange) when they touched each other. now idk if this would make somthing blow. but i have checked every fuse and checked every wire going to the HU. please help thanks

Its possible something is still shorted out. Check the wires again, make sure nothing is touching anything else.1995 Pontiac Firebird

Yes the light is supposed to come on. It sounds like you blew the accessory fuse. Check the fuses again really closely.Originally posted by 95firebird3.4 View PostComment

All aftermarket headunits have a fuse directly on them also. Usually, the wiring harness covers it up. Pull the harness off the headunit and pull the fuse out to check it.Comment
