Well recently the speakers on my right side blew. I was thinking of taking the back left speaker bringing it to the front. Running those off the HU. Then taking a set of Kicker DS650s off a small 2channel amp. Sound good to anyone. Or should I just do all the speaker with a four channel amp. I do have the money but it will cut into my sub and amp fund for a little while. Opinions please?

Re: back speakers
You could move the back speakers to the front on both sides and get a smaller 2 channel amp to power two elemental designs 7kv.2s. That way you won't need subs (well it depends what you want them for, the 7kv.2s will round out the bottom end nicely, but not for being heard from outside the car) and you will kill two birds with one stone.

Re: back speakers
The 7kv.2s will get you great midbass and mids. Elemental designs has great sound quality. I personally wouldn't put kickers speakers in the great sound quality boat, while they are a great brand, I'd say they're more geared for loud than EQ. The DS650s will work fine for you though if your music is going to be overtaken by subs anyway.

Re: back speakers
I'd look into a set of Infinity Kappa 653.7i for the back. I've been told they sound really nice in our cars and fill nicely for a decent price. They're $89 on crutchfield right now. Also, they're only 2-Ohm load, so you won't need an amp to get that extra loud-ness from them :)~97 3.8L V6 Camaro~

Re: back speakers
I actually have decided to do all four speakers recently. Because it is now the only decision. Every speaker has blown completely. I am going to buy
(2) sets of RE audio Comps, tweeters, and crossover. A 400.4amp, or 200.4 based on the set of comps I get which is TBD at the moment. Any recommendations on a amp in either direction.

Don't think I'd roll with two full sets of components either. There is no need for them in the rear.
