  • Will it Fit?

I am wanting to install a KVT-512 + KNA-G510 Combo into my camaro, I checked best buy and they say the unit wont fit in my car, actually it says that almost any flip up in-dash wont fit my car. is this true? i swear i've seen ppl use flip up in-dash's before in our cars... so whats the deal?

It fits fine. Sounds like you need to find a different shop to do your work.

Sweet. Thanks! Any need for a Special Mounting Bracket or anything?

Nothing special. Same dash kit you'd need for any other headunit install. If your car has never had an aftermarket headunit installed in it, then you will probably need to bust that little plastic tab off in the back of the dash. You'll see it if it's still there. Take the stock headunit out, look straight back. Small plastic tab with a hole about the size of a penny in the middle of it. This supports the stock headunit, but interferes with aftermarket headunit depth. Break that isht off.
