Certain HU's have an available adapter that would convert the connector for the controls to an input on the deck. but be sure to research and make sure whatever deck you look at offers this kind of connectivity.

The SWI-X is kinda a universal adapter. However, most headunits have a wired remote option on the back. (Labeled "W/R") The brand specific adapter will plug into these. Hardwired connection versus the infrared connection of the SWI-X.
