DO NOT use the power antenna for a remote wire. For anything. It only puts out power when the am/fm radio is used.
Also you don't have to get a LOC. Get a RF 360.2 Jl makes one but i forget the name of it. Uses the stock HU and makes it sound a lot better and givve 3 rca outs.
The drivers are far to far apart to have cancellation issues like you are speaking of.
In my personal experience this is untrue. I have dual stealths with 2 10" L7's and had a problem with cancellation.
I got everything all setup and it just sounded very muddy and didn't seem to get very loud for having 1500 watts going to them. I took it to my friend who works in a custom car audio shop and he said the same thing. He toyed around with the gains and couldn't get it to sound decent either. After a while of toying he disconnected one of the subs. We both agreed that it actually sounded louder with just the one. After that he just switched the positive/negative wires to the opposite sub and its been slamming ever since.
Now I don't know if it depends on what subs you are running or not but this was my personal experience. Just a little FYI in case anyone else in the future has a problem.
