Single DIN HU in 94 Camaro

I was thinking of adding a single DIN HU with Bluetooth to my 94 Camaro, but the installer I talked to said it wouldn't look very good. What do you guys think? Is that what you all have done anyway?

I see what he means, with a rectangular face installing over the openning. You have this curved look and then stick a rectangle inside it. I am not visualizing how a 1.5 Din wouldn't have somewhat of this appearance as well. Though I guess there wouldn't need to be a different faceplate inside it.

Is there any way to get a 1 DIN adapter to look OK?

There don't appear to be many 1.5 DIN HU's out there, and what are there don't appear to have Blluetooth.

There are many 1 din adapters.
If you feel like going for an upgrade, HUMount makes a great kit for our cars.

Thanks, Crazed 98, it looks like your year camaro doesn't have the curved side like in the 94 I have.

Has anyone done a 1 Din in a 94 or similar year camaro?

Yes /\ That's a single din.

It will look fine, just like any other aftermarket radio.

I find the 93-96 dash's are a bit more complicated to install and look nice vs: the 97-02
