Hey I was trying to put some new speakers into my camaro but the manufactor of the speakers didn't give me enough of those hook up things. So can I just strip the wire and twist or solder it onto the positive and negative prongs from the speaker? And when I replace the stock speakers on my 94 Camaro do I have to remove the door panel or can I take them out of the door? I tried it and it seemed kind of hard, but maybe you guys have a better I way of doing it

you dont need the wire things, you can just wrap them around the +/- things

Hey can I use masking tape instead of electrical tape...or will it work for a little while until I get some elec tape?

Wal-Mart sells electrical tape for like .81 cents a roll. It's not top quality stuff, but it's miles better than your ghetto-rific masking tape idea. Crimp on some connectors and then connect to your speakers. Remember, if you cut corners, you'll just be tearing it apart again to fix your mistake. Save yourself some time and take the extra 10 minutes the first time around.

truth, im pretty sure masking tape will be dangerous to use anyways, just do it right so you dont have to go back and do it over
