I'm going to run 3 Memphis 15-M3102D 10" DVC 800Wmax/400Wrms subs in a subthump triple 10s ttop box. I would love to match them up with a memphis amp im just having trouble on deciding which amp or amps for them. I'm also going to run a 4channel class AB Memphis amp to a set of memphis components and coaxials. Any Suggestions?

Re: Need Amp Suggestions
First off, you'll need a 1-ohm stable amp with the three subwoofers you have chosen. Here is your wiring diagram:
This will give you a 1.33ohm load. Best your gonna get. I don't blame you for keeping all one brand. Frankenstein systems are my pet peeve. lol Here's your sub amp:

And here's your 4-channel:

If you have more money for more power, just speak up. But it'll cost you another $250+ and really isn't too much more power. Gotta pay to play buddy boy! lol:banana:

Re: Need Amp Suggestions
I hate having mismatched equipment, you tend to run into unforseen problems with that sort of thing ya know. Plus, i just love the memphis label. i have a memphis pr set up right now but im trying to sell it. Its a couple 15 and pair of amps for the subs. I really like the triple 10s set up tho. You have any other suggestions for the triple 10s setup? Even another manufacturer wouldnt bother me as long as its all the same brand in the system. I'm not wanting to go too outrageous tho in price. I wouldnt mind adding more power im not really looking at any spending limit im just going with the ttop box because im getting ready to chop up the roof for ttops when it gets warm her in Tn again.
Could i use one amp on each sub? I already have a component and coxial set in the car that match the memphis set up I've already got. Ive got about 4 years in rebuilding I'm starting this spring. So, itll be a while before the whole car is done. I'm starting on the inside and workin my way out!
Thanks for the info.Last edited by mcurtis16; 02-20-2009, 11:38 PM.
