I spent about 7 hours in two days putting new woofers in the doors. I see lots of instructions on tearing the door panel off and nothing about how to put it back on.
I have one door on but the locking slide (red slide ) is a ***** to put on and I wonder if anyone knows the way to do it.
Taking the door off is easy, no instructions needed but putting it back on is
horrible.
Well if you've taken the panel off, then you know you must lift UP then out to remove it. Obviously you'll have to do the opposite when putting it back on. Position the door panel a little higher then where it normally sits. Ensure all the plastic "hooks" or "tabs" are in position over their respective door panel hole. Hold one hand at the top of the door panel and one towards the bottom to help keep the door panel flat against the door. Push down. Ensure the top part of the door panel is clipping around the window area. That part really has to sit into place for the door panel to go on at all.
As for clipping the door lock clip back in place, some people really seem to have a hard time with it. I don't know why I never did. Pull the wire into the out (or unlock) position. Line up the hole in the tip of the clip with the pointed wire end. Give it a solid push straight in to clip it onto the wire.
Don't know what else I can tell you man. Hope this helps.:o
