I just noticed some of these on Crutchfield the other day. Wasn't sure what to think of them. Quality and fitment would be my two concerns.

I have heard they are flimsy and large. If you drive a stick, I'd avoid them for sure.

i don't recommend these... i had a pair in my camaro... you actually have to cut your old kick panels because they aren't the full size... and yes they are flimsy... on the driver side, you have no where to put ur left foot but straight down, which makes it very annoying... i have a pair in my garage just sitting there because i took them out and replaced with new stock kick panels.....

A properly installed quality component set powered by 150WRMS should be enough to completely rock ANYONE'S socks off. There is no reason to ghetto up your car by squeezing as many co- and tri-axils into it as you can.

You want louder? Buy a bigger amp.

                      i doubt that too...

i havent been around much in the past year, but anyone who knows me and stereos.......

i used to have two 18's in the camaro pushing over 3000 watts RMS.... if i didnt have a massive cap and a 2nd battery... my car would stall at idle while using the stereo as it didnt have enough power to create a spark... ;-)

i gave up the 18's to my brother last month... im going for a cleaner two 12 install...... i have spent about 1500 on the camaros interior in the past month bringing it back to brand new, with brand new oem parts...... i haven't driven it on the road in over a year, and i miss it.......

Regardless, I stand by my statement.

                            Pics? System specs?

by you saying "1,000 rms on the hi's" that means your tweeters are getting 1,000 watts so what are your other speakers getting(the mids[unless you just have subs and tweeters]) maybe that is why everybody is saying they doubt it. plus normally when giving numbers for a sound system you do not give totals because nobody cares. you give a number like "my componet sets are getting 150 rms each"
