Subs we recommend for this box are:
    Elemental Designs 11kv2, 11Ov2
Alpine Type R, and Type S
    Image Dynamics ID, IDQ
    Rockford Fosgate Punch, HE, HE2, HX2 P2 P3
Kicker Comp, Comp VR and L5, L7 solobarics
    MTX T6000/T8000
    Boston Acoustics
    Infinity Perfects
    Dayton Audio 10" HO series.
Grab a tape measure. Is the mounting depth really 9" like they claim? They have stopped making some boxes. Maybe they started making a different design for the driver's side? I would call them and ask. It's plain as day on their website. Don't let them con you into paying for return shipping or something like that if I return is needed.

    Post up pictures.

it was deff a 10 inch alpine r. i think i am gonna take a picture and send it to them showing them that they are full of ****. the audio shop said even if it did fit it would sound like **** because there is not enough air around it and it would prob blow very easily from being stressed.

Sounds like you didn't get the same stealth box they are advertising/have sold in the past.

The ones that are pictured/advertised fit a 10" Type-R without any problems. The Type-R itself is known as a small box sub. It does very well in smaller enclosures than others at the same price point. Many on this board alone have used the Type-R in the subthump stealth box. We're not all crazy.:)

First, i would call them. If nobody answers try again later. Calling and talking usually resolves things in your favor more often than "hiding" behind a computer screen. It forces them to say something directly to you on the spot. Rather than giving them time to think about what they want to do and then type up a worded response.

If you can never get ahold of anyone, figure out exactly where inside the box the subwoofer is hitting when you try to install it. Then use a tape measure and measure from that point to the opening off the box. Take a picture of the measurement. Email it to them. Worse comes to worse, can you dispute the charge on your credit card?

Like I posted above I had a type R and also fit my Alpine type X in my subthump box which is bigger than the type R so you got ripped.
