What color option would i need to match my trunk carpet. My car is a 96.

Depends what color your carpet is back there. The year doesn't denote color.

Black is obvious, it's black and could not pass for any other color. The charcoal is a dark grey. It's awfully dark. I doubt anyone could mix it up with grey. The grey is light grey. If you think you MIGHT have the light grey, you absolutely do. None of the colors are real close in my opinion.

I will take a picture tommrrow and post it on here so you guys can see. I can't determine what color it is.

I would say most go black, my new carpet was black when I installed it and the trunk carpet was like a char. grey so I used black fabric spray paint and made it darker not dark black but enough to where my black drivers side Subthump box doesn't stand out. They have pretty expensive prices at that site , might look at the guy selling boxes around here or Subthunp boxes. they use rubberized insulation in there boxes, I just use some poly fill, helps out alittle.

i talked to him today and he told me to get charcoal.

I would say charcoal is by far the most common. I've only seen black maybe twice.
