Pretty sure I'm going to switch from 2 12's to a single 10 here soon; I have the 12's running on 200W each, and they're usually turned down. Looking for a decent 10" woofer to fit in a stealth closure. Price limit is $200, it'll be powered by a rockford p325.1 (210W @ 4Ohm, 415W @ 2Ohms). I know it's not going to hit as hard as my 2 12's, but I'd still like to shake the windows abit; sounds quality is really what I'm after though.
I had a Alpine type R in my stealth box and then went to a Alpine Type X which barely fit, but it is alot louder than the type R and deeper, The type R is good for the price though. I have a PPI 2300AM going to the type X which is around 700 RMS 350 per coil.

I'm very very happy with my choice in Elemental Designs. I've got the 11kv.2 and it stands up no problem to all my expectations. This one is the step up from the kv. http://www.edesignaudio.com/product_...products_id=34
Personally, I have a 10" CVR Kicker (800max, 400rms 4ohm) in a stealth box, and I love the way it sounds. It's powered by some off-brand 600max 300rms amp (friend practically gave it to me), and sounds great for my tastes
ya, I was looking at the 11Ov.2 and debating it and a RE-SE10D4 right now
Re doesn't look bad, still check out the Alpine type X its around $200 shipped at some places.

i decided to not go with a whole box and bought an infinit basslink subwoofer thats got an amp built into it. Ive got it mounted right behind the back seat and still have room for loading my car up, its a great little subwoofer that pounds pretty well, check it out if your concerned about space
