If it is a 1LE they are stronger parts. Search F body 1LE on google.

1LE will get you the hard rubber bushings rather than the soft rubber ones we have, and I do believe the SLP SS's had different shocks from other camaros.

Not sure which model years you're referring to, but I'll do my best to mention all the differences.

          First off, spring rates.

          Manufacturer .... Model .... Front (lbs/in) .... Rear (lbs/in) .... Ride Height Drop (in.)
          OEM GM V6 ......... 93-97 ............. 223 ................... 95.4 ................. 0.00"
          OEM GM V8 ......... 93-97 ............. 310 ................... 110 .................. 0.00"
          OEM GM V6 ......... 98-02 ............. 257 ................... 114 .................. 0.00"
          OEM GM V8 ......... 98-02 ............. 292 ................... 114 .................. 0.00"
          1LE GM ................. 1LE .............. 360 ................ 130-180 .............. 0.00"

As far as shocks, I've never heard of a difference, but the Tech Database lists different part numbers between V6 and V8. 96-99 1LE cars got Koni Double Adjustable shocks, and I believe some SLP cars got Bilstein shocks.

1LE cars have better hard rubber bushings in the rear LCAs. They have a solid round bushing, as opposed to the star-shaped bushing our cars got. You can see the difference here. That thread shows a difference in part numbers for the panhard rod bushing also, but I'm not sure if it there would be a noticeable difference between the two bushings. 1LE also has different front LCA bushings, but replacement bushings are getting harder to find without resorting to the Moog brand. Other than the 1LE option, V6 and SS bushings should be the same.

SS cars actually got a cone-shaped poly rear bump stop, compared to the more appealing rubber foam V6/Z28 bump stop.
