found out today that i needed upper and lower ball joints, outer and inner tie rods, front brakes, front rotors, and shocks and springs. which brands do yall prefer on a budget? i wanna try to keep everything under $800 excluding the shocks and springs, if i can help it. i checked napa and got everything for $670 (except shocks and springs) without taxes. but then again i dont want shi**y stuff on my car either. if i replace the chocks with agxs or bilsteins, do i have to change my stock spring on my 02 firebird? id appreciate all the help.

Look online for the inner/outter tieend rods and lower/upper ball joints, Moog would be your best brand for tieend rods and lower/upper balljoints, just get replacement blanks for rotors and hawks ceramic pads, then you could just get the Tokico brand shocks or just get the KYB ADJ. shocks. Blisteins are nice and everything but once you start having control of your shocks you will never want to go back to a non adjustable shock. Also how did you let it get so bad, do you drive it every day and check the brakes, tires, etc. when you do a oil change? Seriously...don't mess around. Moog is the best bet, WELL worth the money everytime. Ive gotten cheap suspension parts before like ball joints and tie rod ends, and there is always some catch to their design. I had a set of ball joints on the Monte Carlo that eventually broke again due to the fact the grease fitting snapped off. Don't have those problems with Moog.

well when i replaced the motor my friend said that the front suspension was good. so i didnt bother checking over him. well i was rotating my tires because i was doing oil changed and noticed i need brakes and rotors. Then a painter's helper was looking over my car and notice all this sh*t. but yea it was my fault. i drive it everyday.

im getting some problems from my front axle i think. on the weekend i went out and did some donuts in a parking lot.. after my car steering was hard almost like if there was no power steering so i drove it around hoping it would help but it didnt till i did another donut and it put my steering back to normal but now when i make a tight left turn that requires full spin of my steering wheel my wheel feels like it jumps like if my tire is flat. does anyone here have the same problem i need some help
