  • Oh yeah!!!

I just bought some UMI boxed subframe connectors. So this weekend, hopefully I'll be able to put on my shocks, lca's, phb, and front sway bar. Then next week, the sfc's will be welded in. I cant wait.

That's if I'm gonna change my springs right? I got my set off ebay with 98 springs on them. I also noticed the really rusty nut in the middle of the plate with 2 bolts sticking up

well, if you are just going to install the whole thing you should be fine, but yes, that bolt you are talking about is a nightmare, and usually requires destroying the shock mount to get the spring off to install the new shock

Is there any way to keep those nuts from rusting so bad?

Well I got all my suspension installed today, the 35mm front sway bar, UMI lca's and phb, and KYB AGX shocks. It took about 6 hours to do it all, but it went pretty smooth though. I still get a little wheel hop, but I think I just need to let those bushings break in mabey. All in all, the car feels much tighter.

Paint, grease, or even oil will keep most things from rusting so bad.

Might want to try a couple of tire air pressure adjustments and see what happens. Im sure its a night and day difference in the handling.

In the rear yes, in the front I have 98 springs. The car feels tight. Eventually ill get some 98 springs for the rear since I want to keep the car stock height.
