  • 32mm sway bar

Alright so i ordered my 1le sway bar on ebay about 2 days ago and its already here. The best part about it is its bran new, never been used on a vehicle, and i only paid $35 for it. $50 with shipping. Ill have to get a bigger swaybar link set so i will probably mount it this weekend.

I found it on ebay. I just typed 1le sway bar in and this guy K57J was selling it. I think he might have more than one cause ive seen it up there numerous times.

I've got springs, 1le sway bar on the back, and I'm ordering LCAs and PHB probably 2 nite. I'm wondering if the stock sway bar brackets will go on the 32mm, the rear wasn't An issue because it came with my rear end.

You can use the stock ones, get yourself some Moog poly endlinks though.

Thanks bud. Guess I'll have to order the endlinks. No one sells them around here.

You DO NOT want a 21mm sway bar in the rear!! Too much oversteer! There are tons of threads regarding this. Even GM stopped after one year. I have a 35/19.

Well I also have a 19 mm bar so if I run into anything I don't like I'll switch it. And I think I'm goin to stick with the stock endlinks for now, they were replaced like 10 years ago and the are still really hard.

I have a 32mm /21mm combo which works well for me since I have less weight up front and more weight in the rear along with stiffer adj. shocks and spring setup. Its a geat for striaght line and I haven't had many problems with steering except I need a new rack & pinion which is going in this next week a FE2 14.4:1 ratio bye bye rag joint. I got moog tieend rods and royal purple steering fluid ready to go in with the rack. Also doing all the wheels with new rotors and ceramic pads and earls brake lines.

So the 22mm rear sway bar from UMI is way too big then?

That's almost too big for some LS1 suspension setups. Definitely more than you'll need or want for a V6 car.

When I ran the ST 35mm front and the 21mm rear the steering was just about perfect , could hold alot of mph in the turns. But the ST 35mm is 34LBS and the 32mm hollow is 11LBS so its a nice weight reduction.
