sick...thats exactly what I need!!...now I just need to find out if that would work with the PA arms...they have em listed for 329.99 lol...unless umi would give me an option of changing the rod ends out for those for no cost...

I bet they would , just tell them your looking at the PA racing ones but really want their product. Also rodends are more money I believe , like 59.99. Watch PA racing, though they screwed me on my lower A arms, read the stickey above, and see how they did it, thats why I went with Spohn upper A arms, both poly ends.

yes I saw that...I even posted in it when it happened lol...I would hope they do it for no charge...or I will go with PA racing...378 + 60 is getting pricy...378$ is already pricy
but this way I have no headaches...I can just bolt in the new stuff...
eh, what kinda stuff did you notice with the new K member and arms on? feel a handling difference? feel any faster?
I went with the moog lower A arm bushings installed already since I didn't want to deal with it and mine were shot, so all the front bushings were done tieend rods and the TUB. K and lower A arms, I didn't get on it until I got the allignment done but after that I did notice quicker turns from the ligher front end and like I said before the front raised up at least 1/2" , so when I got on it , it would pull up some, more than before since I already took weight off the frront end. But it handled outstanding its like having a 50/50 wieght ratio car, best way I can describe it, esp. if you have good shocks/springs and sway bars. If I went with a V8 or another F-body a TUB. K would be my first mod and A-arms. Thats how well I like it. Plus the extra room to work on it and never losing bolts is always a plus. LOL

moog lower A arm bushings? where did you get those? One concern I read on umis site was that the polys on the A arms would cause binding in the suspension?
They are a option to come on the lower A-arms, they install them for you so saves alot of work, the poly ends are fine, all the A arm ends are either poly or a rod end, the lower A arm moog bushing is what the spindle connects to. The other 2 ends connect to the K member and are the poly or rodend.

where do you see this option lol? I would be more then happy to go moog then either poly or rod...I havent been able to find anything other then rod though...please link to these if you can...the part that connects to the spindle is the same part that you sent me in the link that was poly right? if I can get that as a moog bushing I would be even happier...that part needs to articulate correct?
If you look at this pic you have the 2 rod ends that connect to the k member and then the moog bushing that is vertical which is a option, the rod ends can be replaced with the other link I posted with poly ends instead of rod ends. My whole car has poly bushings on it and I have no problems with binding or any other problems, I grease them twice a year. I just looked UMI doesn't offer the Moog bushings just says bushings, I'll check PA Racing. PA racing has the TRW bushings installed in their lower A-Arms so they have a better deal , just check and see if they will do both ends to the K member in poly instead of one rodend and one poly. Or see if UMI poly end 29.99 will work for the PA racing Lower A-arm, would be a great deal.

Damm , thats a expensive TUb. K , looks outstanding though, kinda of looks like the UMI one they were going to make or the BMR type.
Yeah - read the fine print:
"Our jig was built around the factory k-member providing for an exact fit and factory exact dimensions. Every detail of the factory k-member was incorporated, including all five brake line mounts. There's no "zip tying" of the brake lines with our k-member."
So I contacted UMI about those poly bushings and this is what he said...
Unfortunately with our 2305 you are going to need to maintain a rod end to allow for the chassis articulation. If you installed a bushing in there it would bind the chassis
so my question now is...what does it take to maintain a rod end? I drive through summer and winter with this thing, so salt does get to it....
Just put lithium grease all over the end of it, thats what I did.

And it is specific to a V6.
.
Thats pretty cool for the brake lines, mine are zip tied but will be putting a brakets in and welding them in when I install the Earl Stainless steel brake lines just to make it look alot better , I wonder what the weight is of the K member?

I believe it said that they only drop 25 lbs?
what do you guys think of either of these two products to help protect the ball joints along with the grease?
Those could be good depending on fit and how well you install them. Otherwise they could be quite the opposite and hold in water and other bad stuff that we don't want.
