so would it matter if I made the front brake lines a little bigger diameter wise? I have plenty of brake line left from when I redid the rears, but the piping is just a little bigger then whats up front...
Theoretically it shouldn't matter, as the space inside the caliper (that's filled with fluid as the piston pushes on the brake pad) remains the same. The only time you might see issues is when you go to a significantly larger line and the master cylinder isn't capable of pushing the amount of fluid that fills them.

Ok, here are a few pictures of the brake line bracket that I had my exhaust guy do up for me to hold the brakes nice and tight...sorry for the bad pictures, this is all I can really get without taking the tire off... but some of you requested to see how this was done so you can get a few ideas for yourself. Edit: in this last picture here you can see how I needed a bar welded onto that back nut and have it stick through that tiny round hole so that I could torque down that nut...thats the solution for you guys if you ever break those back nuts, have to drill them out, and ruin the original threads as a result...

hmm...I'll need to look in the morning...but I am thinking 3...they do line up though, you have to play with it...I thought mine didnt line up at first either, but look at how they are shaped, and they should line up on 3 holes if you orient them properly, and on the side they are supposed to be on...
Yes, its 3, if you have a M5 there will be holes for the addtional mounting for the sides of the M5. I think thats when I finally got the brackets that were cut off from the A4 swap.
