Installed my 1 1/2" rear spacers

Finally got my rear spacers in from a place in Canada (no not from LETZRIDE) LOL, J/K, a Company called Bandlanz I think it was. Pretty cool spacers soild steel that go over the bottom mount points, raised it by 1 1/2"s so my rear is now about even or a little higher with the front end. Has like the old school look to it. Now it is time to install the turbo this coming weekend and I'm going to finish the electic boost controller and meth kit this week. Meth kit should add about 15-20lbs to the rearend. But the spacers are def. worth it to rasie the rear. I'll post some pics in the daylight when I get a chance.

I was surpirsed , came with the little Canada sticker on it with the tree. LOL Actually so did my power steering pulley from GM.

Wasn't a lot of our cars made in canada? Which contributed to a ton of metric bolts and nuts all over my f'n car.

All 4th gen Fbodies were made at the St. Therese plant in Canada. Most of the factory replacement parts that are still in production also come from Canada.

Out of curiosity, why do you need to raise the rear end?

I know what his real motivations are. He's trying to get the front end up on that car. The rear is gonna squat and the front is gonna lift. I haven't thought this out completely but it worked out like that in one scenario I came up with.

Back was sore today will try tomorrow, I'm just rasing it for turbo pipping(front was higher than the rear , didn't look right). I have no traction issues so I'm hoping it grabs off the straight, plus I have my Batt. and meth. kit back there, with the 3.73's I hope it grabs well , if it breaks a 12 bolt will go in.

I just had this discussion today with someone when working on my car...all the aftermarket stuff comes from the US, which is why I have a **** ton of Imperial crap all over my car now ....when are you guys gunna figure it out over there :slap:

We have, our tool boxes comes in standard and metric.LOL

so do mine...I just can't count upwards using imperial...in metric it goes by mm...so its 10, 11, 12mm etc....imperial is halve numbers, like how the hell am I suppose to figure that out...I flippin gotta sit there with a pen and paper and make calculations just to figure out which wrench to use when the one I randomly selected doesn't fit...or I sit there trying to see which one is a little bigger or smaller...sometimes I find one slightly too big, and slightly too small...then Im really f*cked cause I don't know what's in the middle ...what the hell was wrong with just using decimals??? Atleast then I could figure it out instead lookin at 11/32 and 15/36 and goin wtf?!?! wheres the goddam wrench inbetween...

No such thing as 15/36. All are multiples of 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32


10/32 (5/16), 11/32, 12/32 (3/8), 13/32, 14/32 (7/16), 15/32, 16/32 (1/2)
