i got a new poly bushing for the tranny and i now have 2 concerns

1-the tranny is going to sit much lower it appears, is this supposed to happen?

2- the bolt hole is like 1/4 off to where i cant even thread the bolt into the new mount from the brace, any suggestions?

    Re: Tranny mount help

You'll need either a spacer or a transmission cross-member off a Z28 of the same year range and transmission. The V6s have a hydraulic mount that is much larger so there is a large dip in the V6 member that the Z's don't have. I believe I have heard of people having to elongate the hole in the xmember for ES mounts. I would recommend you do what I did and get the Z28 x-member and a stock Z28 hard rubber tranny mount. There are no additional gains to be had from poly and it seems that most have trouble with them.

If you look in the how tos it will show you what you need to do for a poly mount:

Best thing about poly is it wont deteriate or crack over time, mines about 4-5 years old and still looks new. Although I want to switch it from red to black just my preference. LOL
