So idk if any of you have seen pictures of my car when i first got it. Well just saying it was a piece of sh**. Sense ive had it its had tons of problems, Transmission blew (Cause the one two bang shift), the paint was terrible cause the guy wrecked it alot, the 2 piece drive shaft split at the coupler. And now ive relized theirs four bolts that hold the shocks on and two of them are broken. and the guy before me try TO DRILL THEM OUT but missed the screw and went threw the side. This guy seriously beat the crap out of this car. just sayin
Drill it out properly, and get a bigger bolt. Not sure what it is going through though, so make sure you do not take off too much meat, so that whatever you are trying to hold in place does not give out under pressure.
If the guy abused the car that bad, I would really be going over that thing with a fine tooth comb...last thing you want is your brakes/steering or other parts of the car to give way while you are driving and have you get into an accident killing yourself or other.
I think were going to have to drill the whole bolt and everything out and weld a new nut in their. I have access to a whole machine shop for free cause my friend owns one. So it will just take time to take it out. Than weld it and put it back in
Also i don't think their is safety inspection in NM. And i was 15 yrs old and had $1600 to buy a car. Had choices of a 5.0 mustang gt (That had a bent frame). A Riveara with the 3.8 supercharged (But was a boat). a thunderbird (Boat to) and then the 96 camaro which seemed fine sporty, not a boat, and a good frame. Plus convertibles camaro's look sick
Im sure it'll look sick as a twisted pile on the side of the road when something gives way and you crash...check that thing over with a fine tooth comb man, especially things like the tie rods and ball joints and **** like that, brakes, etc...
um it depends on the milage got my car $1300 as a 2000 mint just had 174,000 miles and now it has 225,000 and the only this ive done was a front hub and a new rearend (mostly cause i wanted it)
