X2 , I bought a BMR Chromoly adj. LCA's and adj. Panhard rod when I first starting my suspension. Then SFC's, STB, sway bars, poly trans mount and relocation brackets. Then the major stuff like tunnel mount Tq arm and tubular K, A arms and QA-1's and springs. Just have to plan ahead and do the mods 1 step at a time.

          Re: Adjustable panhard bar.

Hmm seems my panhard bar is hard to tighten up. The hex nuts that prevent adjustment don't really stay put. Can the bar "adjust itself" so to speak as you drive? Should I not even worry about this or do I need to find a way to tighten it up?

I think I measured mine then tightened it up and then installed it. I wouldn't leave it loose.

same as steve said. definitely find where it needs to be adjusted to and lock it in place there.

                Re: Adjustable panhard bar.

I lined it up with my stock panhard bar so I had a starting place. Then after the car was on the ground, I adjusted it to where both sides were evenly spaced.

Definitely want them tight... if you didn't need it tight, those nuts wouldn't be there...

I've got the bar adjusted perfect and the bar itself is secure, however:

That's an excellent point. What's the best way to tigthent down those nuts? They one on the passenger side is hard to get at because it's in the bracket. I suppose i could tighten the bar into it, then tighten the other end. Going to get under her and try again now.

l used some wrenches and tightened it up and ensured axle was even. It's pretty damn tight now.
