  • how do you remove the brake booster on a 4th gen?

    i need to use a deep well socket to get it off but the steering column gets in the way of it
    has anyone ever removed one before?

    thats the master cylinder, IIRC there is 4 bolts under the steering wheel that need to be taken off and the brake pedal pushrod needs to come out to get the booster out

        I used a deep socket with a swivel joint and a long extension. It's also a great exercise for the neck and back muscles.
