so one of the only mods i have left to do suspension wise is sway bars

what are the difference in hollow and solid sway bars?

the car is a street car and takes on alot of sharp cornering out in the country roads, so i dont want the rear end breaking loose on corners, but i also take it to the track a few times a year when the car is running good

so what size is good? should i just get stock ws6 bars?

    Re: Sway bar questions

What other suspension mods do you have? Particularly, what shocks and springs are on your car? With aftermarket springs and shocks, you'll probably want some stiffer (bigger) sway bars.

Hollow bars have the benefit of being lighter than solid bars, even some smaller solid bars. There is a perceived downside to this, being that the hollow bars are not as stiff as the solid bars, but that's usually not a big concern when upgrading to a larger bar.

With a set of aftermarket shocks and springs, 32/19 swaybars is the most popular combo. SS/WS6/1LE front sway bars are hollow 32mm and can be found new or used for cheap on Ebay. For a 19mm rear bar, just buy one cheap off of an LS1 car that's upgraded his rear.

Now, if you're still considering doing a high horsepower build, then you might want to take into consideration the need for a different suspension setup. But if you're sticking with a moderate street and corner car, then this setup will be just fine.
