First i would like to thank everyone in advance, i have used this site to fix alot of problems to fix my 01. All of your advice is much appreciated!

So, i hit a pot hole going about 20-30 and now im losing air out of my tire. It only loses air while driving though, and at low speed it sounds like this (psh....psh....psh....psh). I have felt the sides of the rim, and there are no nics. By eyeballing it, it doesnt seem to be bent either. I have also moved the stem around thinking i may have broke the stem. and i sprayed the tire with water to try and find the leak but to know avail.

Sorry if that sounds retarded but im trying to provide as much information as i can.

Thanks for all your help everyone!

I would just take it somewhere like Sears and tell them your issue... They charge like $20 for a flat repair and that includes new valve stem and balancing... There could be a cut in your side wall or in the tread, there could be corrosion on the rim, but no matter what it is, it's easier imo to just take it in and have it looked at.

Les Schwab fixed the nail in my tire for free..and I didn't even buy it from them. But yeah, I'd take it somewhere and at least have them balance it. If the rim is bent, it will show up on the balancing, and if the leak isn't bad, a bottle of that tire sealer goop might be adequate.

Careful with the fix a flat stuff as it is corrosive on aluminum rims...

They make some bead tar you can try after they see if they can bend it back out some. I was going to try and fix my chrome rims from leaking do to the chrome flaking off on the inner side but just decided to buy new chrome rims.

            Re: Bent Rim

Ok got it checked out and had a bent rim, after a scavenger hunt, I finally got a new one and got it mounted. Now in order to drive straight my steering wheel is at a 45 degree angle to the left. I'm thinking alignment, but could there be any other damage that could sneak up on me? And by the way, chevy dealer wanted 380 for a new rim haha

              Re: Bent Rim

Dealers are disgusting. So, when did your steering wheel turn? Directly after the pothole or after they put the new wheel on? If it was only have they put the new wheel on, I'd take it back to the shop that did it and tell em to fix it for free.

You could look just in front of the lower control arm, and see if you have a bent tie rod.
