if you dont want to spend alot of money get the kyb gas-ajust shocks. There is no need to spend the money for the adjustibility of the agx's if your just street driving. hell, i have autocrossed on my gas-ajusts for the last 4 years with lowering springs and they are great.
bottom line get the gas-adjusts

i would have to disagree on this one, the GR2's are actually the better shock for our cars... even though i dont recommend getting either
I am thinking about getting new shocks. I got the car with 94,000 miles on it 2 years ago, and it has about 116,000 miles now. I'm not sure if they have been replaced or not. (they are orange, not sure what the stock ones look like) But I was wondering what the best CHEAP shock is. I'm talking under $50 per shock preferably. I don't do autocross or anything, just occasional trips to the track and daily-ish driving.
Thanks for the help!
The orange shocks are most likely the OE shock. For the type of driving you described, any qualiy after market shock should be fine. I recently replaced just the OE rear shocks (that had 39K on them) with KYB GR2. At about $22 each, they perform much better than the OE, and seem to handle very well with spirited driving.
Due to the cost of the front shocks, I will probably put them off a bit.
good observation! Of course they would say they are better. They are getting more money lol
yup, i did a ton of research before buying my shocks, and the GR2's are actually better than the gas adjusts.
the only reason i went with the gas adjusts is because i found a cheap used set online for the front, and i wanted to keep the back the same, which was all cheaper than buying 4 new gr2's

this is probably what i will do. I can't afford 300 or 400 or even more dollars for sweet shocks! lol I can cut $50 for 2 a lot easier!
