Have the new rotors and pads on, and I'm now trying to put the caliper back on. It doesn't fit! The top caliper bolt puts everything out of whack. Any help?

Re: Replacing pads/rotors
Did you compare the new rotor to the old one? They may have given you the wrong one... check the pads too for that matter... otherwise you just have to wiggle it around until it lines up right. Make sure to get both bolts started in their threads before you tighten either up tight...Rebuilding the engine... Building a custom front end... T-top conversion... Custom rear hatch..

Re: Replacing pads/rotors
if you leave the pins seized up like that your going to be making pad changes many more times than necessary. What you need to do is pull that bolt out, clean up all the rust/grime whatever with a wire wheel or brush, and use hi-temp brake caliper grease on them. Otherwise it'll hang and overheat your front brake system. Nothing on a brake system should be stiff, sticky, or dirty. Nice, clean and properly greased is a happy happy joy joy brake system. :)
PS: Brakes and I didn't get along in the past, so its become a very big focus point for me. :P

Re: Replacing pads/rotors
Gave up for the night after my last post, and 10 minutes later my dad calls me down and shows me the removed bolt:bowdown:! Then he tells me to clean it up like bandit said and after that it was G2G. I just got my *** kicked on my own car.
