The 32mm bar will be a nice improvement in the feel of the car and confidence in corners, the body roll will be quite noticeably reduced from your 28mm front bar.
thanks, i have a 98 if it makes any difference.. as long as i will be good.

since my clutch has been slipping i pretty much baby my car, and the fastest i ever go is highway driving ~65.. cant really go much faster than that anyways because once i hit 70 it feels like my car is going to vibrate apart thanks to the awesome wheel balancing general tire gave me

The crusie control box is on the drivers side where it holds in in with a stud and 2 nuts.

i used a 32 with my stock rear bar damn near totaled the car first test drive *** end slides like a *****! driving on a curvy country road at high speeds when your tail slides out from under you.. HOLD ON! so now i run a 32/17 set up and love it.. but if you don;t wanna upgrade the rear i have a 30mm bar for sale that goes great with the stock 15 rear bar

aggressive driving? :naughty: haha I'm not sure if I had a 17 or a 15 in the back, I though all v6's had 17s though never had a problem like that and backroads in pittsburgh we've got some twisties.

I run a 32mm front with a 21mm rear and it handles great but I think its do to the whole suspension together. If stock I wouldn't run the 21mm rear.

Yes, suspension is a system and nothing should be changed without considering the effect it will have of the other components of your suspension. As a general rule of thumb, under steer is safer than over steer, and the rear bar should be under 21mm unless you know what you're doing and have supporting suspension modifications.

BTW Steve, that must've been what I was thinking of.

It took me a min. or 2 to think what was there. Because I took it off awhile ago.

It cracked horizontally, didn't it? Mine did at the passenger side endlink. It was really weird. I welded it and put it back on. I haven't put it up to any autocross type turns but it feels damn good as a DD.

                      you would be correct

last time i looked at it, there was a huge crack splitting it in 2 pieces, and also near the bottom of the sway bar it looked like a ream of paper with tiny cracks.

my passenger side has been making a "tinkin" sound when i hit bumps, i think it may be the end link bouncing around

im thinking of just throwing a ton of weld around the whole thing and grinding it off

edit* i wont be able to get to it until at least wednesday, so i will take pictures.. hopefully everything will clean up, and the endlinks wont break, they are fairly new

hopefully i will get a chance to look at my suspension tomorrow morning, this has been such a crazy week, i wanted to look at it on wednesday but i ended up having to replace the shocks on my dads car.. and i must say the "quick struts" save a boatload of time.. i had them both done in an hour, compared to 2 days with my car trying to get the damn nut off of the shock tower that was rusted solid.

while i was driving tonight i heard something fall off my car, and the tinking noise i was hearing up front stopped/changed so i have no idea what happened. I didnt notice any difference with my steering so im not sure if it is the sway bar or not anymore

                          I'm running a 32 / 17 combo. Prob. should get a 19 instead.

i briefly got under the car today and i spun the broken piece around, and the noise seems to have stopped, so that is most likely the problem.

hopefully if everything goes right i can take it off tomorrow.. this whole week has been crazy for me. im just going to weld it up, and grind down the welds so it looks new

ugh.. you have got to be kidding me

so i took my swaybar off today and welded it up, everything was good, except for that stupid bracket on the drivers side of the swaybar bushing

i bent it off and belt the hell out of it and now i cant get the bolt to go in correctly. Seriously, who designs this stuff? i dont understand why they couldnt have just used a long bolt instead of a 2 piece bolt that i now cannot get back in.

it started raining so i had to quit but im just a bit annoyed right now.

I remember the first time I took mine off, 110 temp on asphalt on towels and had to look it up in the haynes manual. That was hell.
