    Re: front sway bar removal

I wonder what affect welding has on the bars. They are type of spring steel. Do you think they will lose some temper/strength?

seriously, all they needed to do is change the bracket a tiny bit, and use a long bolt.

i have no idea, but if anything it will be better than having it broken. I cant imagine there being much difference.

I actually had to weld both sides as the drivers side was split down the middle, but was not broken like the pass side is.

I thought about redoing mine if I had the spare time , and just cut and drill out the stud and use a bolt since I got rid of my cruise control years ago. Its a good idea just time consuming.

Theres a cable that runs along the drivers inner vendor and a wiring harness plug in for the crusie control. I had the cruise control cable go out on me and get stuck and it held the TB open , so I had to diconnect the cable to get my car running normal again, nothing like starting the car and hitting 6000 RPMS all at once, this was when I had a M5 in it.
