  • Edelbrock Shocks.

    Hi,

Anyone use these shocks or has heard about them? I'm looking for road handling vs. straight line traction.

    Thanks.

I'd like to have a well handling street car. I'm also considering lowering the car 1 1/2".

Interesting. For what you wanna do, Bilsteins. You can get all 4 for under $400. BMR is having a sale on LS1tech that if you buy anything they sell for $99 or more, you can buy their lowering springs for $159, which isn't a bad deal. Those Edelbrock shocks are pricey.

edelbrock sells junk stuff for high prices, there are a ton of better options for you to choose from.

Someone too labelled edelbrock as 'edeljunk' so I've started having second thoughts as well but unsure which to choose incase it fails me. According to you which is the best out there?

The "best out there" is going to be more than what most are willing to pay. Koni single adjustable or double adjustable are going to be one of the best optioned shocks for handling and quality. At that point, you're looking at $800-$1200, depending on what you choose. KW also makes a coilover kit for $2100, but I don't think anyone on here has a need for that.
