  • Noob Question Need Help Please

Im looking into buying new rims/tires for my 97 camaro. I have the stock 5 spokes on there now. If I were to buy corvetter rims with 18inchs in the back and 17 up front would that work? (would it look nice?). I think the wheels on there now are 16 inches all 4. I have a white camaro looking at corvette rims with black it would look very nice.

    Thanks alot

yes, corvetter rims will work on your car

im not sure when they changed the back hub size, but it may be necessary to do a tiny bit of grinding

I believe with a 97 you'll need to dremel the hub of the rear rims a little.

Also, I know with my 275/35R18 rear rims I needed to hammer out the inner fenderwells a little bit.

I know when you go with different size TIRES, your ABS will hate you.

Some people have to BFH the wells and some dont. I think since you have a 97 you'll actually be good, i think 93-95 cars or something have to grind a little.
