Like I said, many people will say they didn't notice a difference while others will swear it did. Like most minor performance modifications, it's mostly subjective. Most people will say the change from a two-piece steel drive-shaft to a one-piece aluminum drive-shaft is a very noticeable difference, which has been reinforced by independent testing which showed a 0.2 second improvement in 1/4th mile time. However, I made this same swap and noticed absolutely no difference whatsoever, even trying to feel a difference and expecting one too. In the same way, I put on my STB not expecting a difference, but felt a very noticeable difference.

i agree, i really think a lot of it is in the persons head.

when i installed my aluminum driveshaft i noticed a TINY TINY TINY bit of difference, i was expecting my car to go from 0-60 in 2 seconds after i read what everyone said about them.

I think people who do it as a first mod from stock will notice the difference more than others. I went from open 3.23's to a Torsen diff. , 3.42's and ALM driveshaft and it was noticable but not amazing. Going from 3.42's to 3.73's was a big difference, going to the UMI TQ arm was a big difference and using HPtuners and tunning was a big difference. So there are some that are major mods and some that would be a supporting mod to mods already added.
