SLP Strut Tower Brace issue help!

I just received SLP's STB # 70005 from summit. I busted the box open and made a test fit to see how this thing would fit. The problem I have is the alternator seems to sit too high and prohibits the STB to rest correctly on the mount bolts. I searched to see if anyone else had this issue and it seems i'm the lucky one! I still have the stock alternator on also. Any help is appreciated.

Alternator issues mean you got the V8 bar, not the V6 one. As you can see, the V8 bar will not fit. Send it back for the right one.

Not on their page (SLP and Summit) it says it only fits V8s. ;)

Thanks I kinda figured that but the description I read said that it fit the V6. So i'm back to scratch. Thanks alot

Anyways, perhaps look into a V6 bar from BMR Fabrications. ;)

slp's site says it will only fit the 8. thats a common clearance problem. if im not mistaken, i thought slp got their bar from bmr. youre going to need the bmr bar that is made for v6 and SS cars. www.bmrfabrication.com
