endlink or bushing, i'm confused

  • endlink or bushing, i'm confused

    could someone explain what i need/what i broke.

    i broke the bolt which connects the lower control arm (front passenger side) to the sway bar, what do i need to buy, be it from thunder racing or wherever, to replace this

    That would be the endlink...and you can pick a new one up at your local auto store. Its about $15 for a set.

      The whole assembly is an "endlink" It should have one long bolt, one big nut, a few washers, and 4 bushings. PER SIDE.

      You can buy poly bushings that replace the rubber ones, (which you can also do for the "body bushings" that hold the sway bar to the frame), but if you broke the bolt, you'll need a new bolt, or a whole new setup might be easier.

        The Energy Suspension part numbers are:
        9-8118 for black poly bushings
        9-8118R for red poly bushings

        These are the whole endlink sets. They include two endlink sets (enough for the front sway bar).

        The part numbers are the same for the rear endlinks also.

        You can buy them at Autozone now...they carry them in stock.

          cool, i picked some up today, and replaced the broken one (i had to go to lecture), still getting a damn hollow knocking noise though
