Rim weight

I have a 2002 camaro with chrome rims, i tired to look up the rim wieght and the best estimate that i could find is 21.5. Is this right? I was hoping that they weight more cause the after market rims that i am looking at weight 27/32 so i assume that means with tires and all that weight i am picking up i am going to add like .3 to my 1/4th.

Its my understanding the stock wheels weight in some where around 20lbs.

Thats a little confusing because it has different weights for 00 and 00+, but your wheels shouldn't weight near 27/32.

I wouldn't count on it being with tires. My z06s are 25lbs each without tires :( They're going to slow me down ALOT and that's not cool.

corvette 2000s = 18.8lbs
it says that 2000+ camaros have lightweight wheels = 17lbs

Yeah...but the chrome ones way more, and the website i looked at said that the stockers were, 20 or 21. And then i called OE concepts and they said the 17x9.5s were 27 and the 18x10.5s were 32, the said that was the shipping weight minus the box and stuff, only cause he didn't have any better way to get me a weight.
Does anyone know how much the rotating mass of wheels affects preformance and gas milage of a car?
