So i am replacing my front brake lines and i was wanting braided brake lines to clean up the look of the engine bay. So i was wanting to know if there are any companies that make that application for our cars.

those have to be solid hardlines...you cannot go with stainless braided for those lines...the braided line replaces the rubber hosing that goes from the end of the hardline to your caliper.Originally posted by Camaro_09 View Post

LETZRIDE is dead on. I've got some Russel braided lines at the brakes and differential (rear disk). IIRC they are a teflon tube with a stainless steel braid covered by clear plastic. I don't think you would want that to replace steel hardlines with a plastic tube. What about masking everything else off and painting the steel lines?Originally posted by Camaro_09 View PostComment

you could always buy the braided line and cut a slit in it and put it over the brake line, or disconnect the line and slip it over the hard line.. although it seems like a huge waste of moneyComment
