If you are thinking about buying the J&M lca's with the spherical bearing in one end DONT! Mine have been making loads of noise since day one. If you caint deal with alot of clunking dont get them.

You're not talking about the poly-ball bearing, are you? ...or are you talking about the hymes jointed ones?

      Re: J&M Lca's

they have a polyball in one side, which is great. And a teflon spherical (hymes) in the other, which sucks for daily driving. If you want J&M's go with poly ball in both sides.

The dual poly-balls are amazing. Generally race equipment isn't well suited for daily driving.

They are called Heim joints, people. And mine make a ton of noise too. What do you expect when you replace a rubber bushing with a rod end?

my rod ends are quite? I got em up on the lower front A arms...just have to lube them with grease every oil change to take care of them... I did it when I installed them, and maintained so ever since...

Can you buy just the poly ball? I have poly bushings in both ends of my umi lca's. If not I'm just gonna get some hard rubber for the upper bushings.

No the guy said the bore on the bearing side is bigger than the poly ball side. im going to try and put some rubber between the rear end and the bearing and see if it quiets down

I'm running the dual poly balls as well. They are firm, non-binding and quiet.

Try the rubber inbetween them then see if it helps , maybe they need more time to break in.
