  • Cheap Rotors from ebay?

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-Fro...Q5fAccessories

I am under the belief that a rotor is a rotor. I am in the middle of upgrading my 94's front brakes to the 98-02. I have capilers, spindles, hawk hps, and rotors are my last item. Should I go the cheap route??

Eh, I come up with $72 shipped from Rock Auto for a pair of Bendix front rotors. Might be worth the $5 to order from them.

R1 Concepts are some good rotors, lasted 5 + years on my car. Were like $40 a rotor for cross/ drilled zinc coated , can't beat the price of them.

            I'm seeing $189.57 for a pair of cross drilled/slotted rotors... That's nowhere near $40.

Check with rotorsonline.com, he's running a special on f-body brakes right now, if he has any left.

I paid $89 shipped for my front 2 rotors and pads from R1 concepts in 2007. The laws of supply and demand have taken effect my friend.

They realized they have a good, quality product and even at ~$200 are still a fair price

No and no again. You're going to get what you pay for. On the otherhand, if brakes aren't something you use that much, and not something you would need to consistanty work in emergency situations (even cracked and warped rotors will likely stop your car in some fassion), then by all means, buy the cheapest rotors you can.
