Each burnout removes 500-1000 miles of life from your tires it seems... especially 10second smokey ones.
Are the Goodyear replacements you have the same tread pattern and compound as a GA? If so, expect 10,000-20,000 miles max burnouts or not.
I really dislike GAs. Luckily when mine die I'm going back to sears like I did before and I'm going to complain again. Last time I did this I got back $98/tire due to the quick wear. I highly recommend doing it, since they usually come with mileage warranties.2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

heh, that's cool, i never do the real smokey burnouts--that just feels bad on the tires and don't like to do it. but there are occasional little burnouts from a stop sign where you floor it or something or there are occasional ones in other places like donuts (i've done two with the tires i have on there now). but i don't think i need to worry bout much, do you?
btw, i have no idea about the GA's comparing them to mine. i know that the tires i have on the back are now about 13k miles on them and if you look close you can tell they have been worn down a little more than the front tires (which are less than a month old). but i don't really think the few burnouts i've done have made that big of a diff. but like i said, i don't know, and that is why i am asking if this is a normal 'wearing' sign or not...
