I was looking at those on ebay about a week ago. A bit too expensive for my taste. If you get them though, let me know how you like them.

I have the QA1's w/ 325# springs, and after a bit of time finding the correct adjustments, wow.. I can't even put into words what the difference is. It's like I have a whole new suspension, that was made to be under a sports car.

      My Settings:

      Front Compression: 8 Clicks
      Rebound: 16 Clicks

      Rear Compression: 12 Clicks
      Rebound: 12 Clicks

      Height: 1/2 Drop (approx.)

Yes, every shock/spring change screws up the alighnment I'm afraid. Adjustment is easy with a C-wrench, (supplied with kit) so the thing that takes the longest is the dialing-in. As far as price, I got in on a group deal at another forum and paid 500$ instead of the usual 750+ from a vender. The height is totally adjustable, all the way from scrape, to hillbilly.

Yes,they do. The coilovers are essentially shocks with threaded portions that hold and position the spring. That's why the height is adjustable.

That is the front-only set though. As I said above, all four corners together, usually run around 750-800 dollars a set. Check Jeg's or Summit for pricing on a complete set.

You do not want to just buy 1/2 of a coilover suspension. Mixing and matching coils with standard shock + spring combos, negades most of the benefits. It's a waste of money. Looking at your post again, I don't think you want to do that, but I'd thought I'd mention it for those considering it. (cretins, all of you)

The alighnment and it's settings depend on the height you adjust them too. There are places on the net that you can get the proper measurements for driver weight, ride height, etc. etc. so that's no big deal really. Alighnments are far from permenant, lol.

Well, I guess you've found two things that make baby jesus cry. Or, well at least you, anyways.

How in the world can you damage a suspension playing with tie-rods and slider bolts?
