You probably have one rod in too far.

Anywhoo, yep, again, they do. But also again, the kit you list is only for the front end. You'd still need a rear kit, to make a full and fully functional set.

If you just get the fronts, it would be like Dr. Maureu combining a shark with a sea-bass in some genetic experiment gone wrong.

Up front, you'd have the steering, agility, and power of a killing machine, but in the rear you would have a case of bass-a$$. Essentially improving nothing in the end.

Just save up, and buy the whole set.

okay. this looks like they make coil overs for the front. and one or two way adjustable shocks for the rear. but not coil overs in back. right? QA1 HOME PAGE

OK, I'll give it a shot.

Coilovers are mounts for shock absorbers that allow adjustment of ride height individually at all four wheels.

The package you're looking at is the front setup, the coilover mounts, the shocks and the springs. The shocks packaged with this particular setup are adjustable. You'd need a similar package for the rear. The fronts and the rears are completely different deals. Some people sell the whole thing as a unit, for some reason this offer is just for the front pieces.

Basically this is a mod for the serious racer squeezing the last little bit of performance out of the car. Anyone would need to spend a lot of time figuring out how to adjust everything correctly, and it requires more knowledge/experience to get it right than most people here have. It just doesn't seem a sensible mod for you, in my opinion. I think that's why you're getting the comments.

My recommendation would be a simple set of excellent shocks, like Bilsteins. Get you 90% of the way there at less than half the cost, much more bulletproof.

wtf, I said the exact same thing, multiple times.

But, the adjustment does not take alot of time, mine took about an hour with a simple cone set-up. Also, coilovers are more sturdy than bilsteins, as c/o's are meant for serious abuse.

if coil overs are more made for abuse than bilsteins then thats what I want.

i want to switch from street/track to drag.
i want to hook like a mad dog and let my engine go forward/up.

bilsteins are almost guaranteed for life, so these QA1s C/Overs are even better eh?

                      CAN SOMEONE HELP THIS TARD!?
                      thnx

QA1's would be great for that, with all the adjustment options and all. However, most people use them for autocross or extreme street, which as you know, is hell on cars. As far as drag goes, I don't know which of the two would be more durable during drags. (QA1's or Bilsteins) But, if I had to guess, I'd still say coils.

Bilstein does make a hell of a shock though, and they can be revalved for different spring rates. But, they are known mostly for pure street use in my experience, and therefore I disagree about them being tougher than the QA1's.

Also, IMHO, the coils would be easier to adjust to different track conditions.

Spohn sells a rear coil-over kit that looks pretty good.
