Does anyone know of a good spring to go with the KYB AGX's? Preferably a lowering spring. I may go with QA1's in the rear.

The car rides very nice. My front end is up a little higher than the back but that's because of all the weight reductions I did in the front.

Re: AGX + springs
It's unlikely that Hotchkiss makes springs. They probably buy them from a spring supplier. Hotchkiss springs are no better or worse than many of the other popularly-priced aftermarket suspension parts.
If you want the best springs, look at Eibach. All Eibach makes is springs. They have fabulous engineering. Ebiach products are used world-wide in motorsports such as F1, Sprint Cup, Indy cars and AMLS and are also used by some high-end O.E. applications.
As for the progressive rate vs constant rate rear spring issue...F-cars have progressive rate rear springs so the car has a nice ride when lightly loaded. From a performance handling standpoint, at normal ride height, the rear is somewhat under sprung. Best for handing are constant rate rear springs. Admittedly, with them, you trade some ride quality at normal rear height for better handing.
On my THRS project car, I run QA1 coil over shocks in the front with 600 lb/in Eibach springs. In the back I run QA1s and Global West 200 lb/in constant rate springs.Last edited by Hib Halverson; 03-30-2011, 07:57 PM.

Re: AGX + springs
I just installed AGX + Hotchis springs and I love them. Firm up the ride and IMO make the care more balanced. I run them set at 4 front and rear and the car drives like its on rails. I may suggest a set of spacers in the rear to keep the car level with its original stance because my bird dropped about 1/4 to 1/2" more in the rear then the nose but that may also be due to the sub and amp in the tail. Aside from that They are worth the price by far. The progressive springs give you a firm but tolerable feel over normal road conditions but you still get that tight response from the higher rates when you throw it around.
